similarities and differences in finace cluster

this week in career exploration we did the finance cluster and my two careers similarities are their work values, their knowledge skills and abilities, and their related occupations, other than these things they don't have much in common. The things they don't have in common is their descriptions of course, their "work activities" their education needed, their wages, and their work styles, but not every job is the always the same.

Government and Adminastration

So this week in career class we did the government and adminastration careers and i chose general and operations manager and a legislator and i'm suppose to find things they have in common which that's going to be very hard for me because i didnt find anything on a legislator, like the legislator doesn't even have a specific education requirement or knowledge, skills, and abilities. But what really ticks me off is that the U.S wages for it is 19,000$ and in new york it goes to 80,000$ so what i think it is, you don't education but get paid a pretty decent amount of money, i'm just mad of what our economey is like, It's just not fair that someone that actually does something like a butcher that makes 24,000$ and someone that talks about things about our country makes 80,000$ it's just a little unfair.

Arts Summary

We did a new career cluster this time and we decided to do the "arts" i chose Director and Graphic designers and i am going to do a "summary" the description for a director (of anything like tv movies etc.) is "interpret script, conduct rehearsal, and diret activities of cast and crew" so it's rehearse with veryone to get everything right. Next is graphic designers which i could only find little information on them but they "design or create graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs" so what i think they do is pretty much make the "CGI" for things. Well I'll see you next time.

True colors

Today in career exploration class we learned about our "true colors" blue, gold, orange, and green and we have to tell four teachers and friends that represent them. So the first one is Mr. Boyars he would be a blue because blue represents soothing the nervous system and when i come to his class i'm never stressed, next would be Mrs. Rigdon she would be an orange, sumed all together orange is excitment or flamboyant, i see this because she is always too excited for the class, next is gold which represents value strength and stability i see this in Mr. Ogle because he always knows what to do when to do it and how it is done, next is green and it represents the expression of logic and i see this in Mr. Smith because he teaches math a "logical" class because math is in everything. Now my four friends Jamey i see him as gold because he always comes to class prepared and is always the first one done, and the second one is Chris he's orange because he is always wild and laughing 24/7, next is Salem he's a green because he is always serious 24/7, last is blue and that would be Andrew becuase he's always relaxed and never worried about anything. So these are what i think my friends and teachers are.

Business and management

welp this week in my career exploration class we have been working on business and manage adminastration and I chose two careers which were a typists and a courier which we have to post their job description, skills, and education needed which for the typist the job description is "use word processor or computer typewriter to. TYPE. LETTERS (whooohooo) then their skills needed are "clerical english language, computers and electronics, writing, monitoring, near vision, active listening and reading granted these are not all of them but most, the education required is only a high school diploma (so not much to type) NOW a courier's job description is pick up and deliever messages, documents, packages, and materials etc. etc., their "skills" are transportation customer and personal service, english language, active listening, speaking, critical thinking, monitoring, reading comprehension, again these sren't all of them but most. And finally the "education required" is not avaliable but after a little digging i found you MUST have a highschool diploma.

My Style???

today in career exploration we figured out what our learning styles are. My style happens to be auditory and in my mind it's a little "tactile", these impact my learning by if i hear it i'd learn it just a little easier but if it's a harder subject i'd rather learn it by having a movement to learn it easier, like if it's the directions i'd like to have the person pointing which way they are, if we could learn each way possible i think school would be so much easier and it would be more fun i'm guessing, i guess my style kinda means something but i haven't exsactly figured out how to (for better words)"master it."
